Credit
Recovery Program Policies
- No food or
drinks in the classrooms. Teachers may have water due to the impracticality of
leaving to use the water fountain. Students may ask to use the pass to get a
drink from the water fountain.

Students may
only purchase and consume food and beverages during their lunch period.
- Attendance
will be tracked on a per-minute basis for each quarter. Only time spent in the
classroom will be counted (this includes any Resource time completed for the
class). Time spent in detention, ISS, 210, unexcused tardies, etc. will not
count.
- Time can be
recovered during the Resource period.
- Students
arriving to school late must sign in at the west door with security, then
report to room 210 for attendance update, and finally bring the tardy pass to
class in order to be admitted to class.
- Only students
with 90% attendance or greater for the quarter will earn accelerated credit for
that quarter.
- Time cannot be
made-up after the quarter ends.
- Attendance percentages
will be updated and posted on a weekly basis.
- Chronic
truancy will result in the filing of a Truancy Petition.
- Student passes
will not be issued during the first 15 minutes of class. Students must ask the
teacher for permission and a pass to leave the classroom.
- Students will
address staff by last name.
- There are no
breaks between class periods. Students are required to immediately report to
the next class as soon as the current class ends.
- Students must
enter the building using the west entrance and move between floors using the
east stairs.
- Students are
expected to respect ALL Reuther staff.
- Students are
required to keep all personal possessions (backpacks, purses, hats, coats, cell
phones, etc.) in their assigned locker during the school day.
- Students are
required to keep all class materials in the classroom that the materials are
used in.
- Students are expected to be active in the
learning process. All assignments must be completed in order to receive credit.
All assignments must be completed in a manner acceptable to the individual
instructor.
