Credit Recovery Program
Parent & Student Responsibility Contract

Parent - Student Policy Signature Form

The Credit Recovery Program has strict attendance, work, and behavioral requirements. To ensure the success of each student enrolled, there must be total commitment by students and parents. Therefore, the following agreement must be read and signed upon entering the Credit Recovery Program.

Earning Credits: Academics

All assignments must be completed in a manner acceptable to the individual instructor in order to receive credit. Students are expected to be active in the learning process.

Earning Credits: Attendance

Minimum attendance for accelerated credit is 90%. Time is calculated separately for each class on a per minute basis. Absences may only be made up in the quarter in which they occur. Chronic truancy will result in a truancy petition.

Behavior & Attitude

Students are required to behave in an appropriate manner and within the guidelines of the Credit Recovery Program, Reuther Central High School, and Kenosha Unified School District. If necessary, we will take disciplinary action toward those displaying poor behaviors and/or attitudes.

Conferences

Parent/Teacher conferences are held quarterly. These conferences are crucial for evaluating student progress and monitoring future goals. Parent/Teacher conferences are required. Failure to attend these conferences by parents/guardians may result in the student’s suspension from the program until such time as the parent/guardian meets with the Credit Recovery Program’s teachers.
