Work Opportunities
AIS students at Reuther Central High School are required to do one of the following since they are in a two-block course schedule.
Students who are taking, and passing an extra class, or who are taking Youth Options, are exempt from this requirement. To meet the requirements, students may take the Learning A Living course offered in AIS. Some circumstances may allow students to be exempt from work opportunity requirements. Please see the building Administrator for more information.
AIS - Learning A Living
Students are able to explore personal career goals, build desirable employee traits and develop future employment opportunities. Students will be required to be actively searching for employment, maintain employment search records, and make follow up phone calls. Class activities include paper job applications, on-line job applications, telephone techniques, interview questions, and daily journals. Students have gone on to successful career opportunities with their high school employment. Build decision-making and leadership abilities. Further develop your business skills in the classroom and on the job!
