Application Information
- Read the entire form
before writing anything.
- Be sure to fill in all
of the spaces.
- Practice your printing
for paper applications. Practice your
typing for on-line applications.
- Be prepared to complete
the entire form.
- Applications should be
neat and accurate.
- Memorize your social
security number.
- Only adult court records
with a conviction of a guilty decision.
DO NOT record any juvenile information.
- If one is asked if one
is bondable, the answer is yes unless you have been convicted of an adult
crime. Bonded means the employer is
insured for losses by a worker. If a
person cannot be bonded, one will probably not be hired. One may have to be bonded if one works with
money or equipment. If one works at a
bank or the dog track, one will be bonded.
A bonding company usually bonds persons with trustworthy records.
- Inform the potential
employer of an exact date you would be able to begin work. Do not put down ASAP.
