Application Information

  1. Read the entire form before writing anything.
  2. Be sure to fill in all of the spaces.
  3. Practice your printing for paper applications.  Practice your typing for on-line applications.
  4. Be prepared to complete the entire form.
  5. Applications should be neat and accurate.
  6. Memorize your social security number.
  7. Only adult court records with a conviction of a guilty decision.  DO NOT record any juvenile information.
  8. If one is asked if one is bondable, the answer is yes unless you have been convicted of an adult crime.  Bonded means the employer is insured for losses by a worker.  If a person cannot be bonded, one will probably not be hired.  One may have to be bonded if one works with money or equipment.  If one works at a bank or the dog track, one will be bonded.  A bonding company usually bonds persons with trustworthy records.
  9. Inform the potential employer of an exact date you would be able to begin work.  Do not put down ASAP.
