- State Assistant Child Care Teacher Certification
- For all Junior and Senior students or any student 17 years of age or older
- Offered at Reuther Quarter 2 & 4 by Gateway Technical College - 3 credits
Description
This class will provide an opportunity for students to further understand children and to prepare for entry-level employment in a childcare setting. Satisfactory completion of the course with field experience in a child care setting will qualify the student for certification as an Assistant Child Care Teacher . This is the certification offered by Gateway Technical College. Students must be at least a Junior or 17 years old to receive the certification for employability.
Requirements
To enroll in either of the above classes, students must be free of felony convictions or only receive elective credit for the class (certification/employment will not be granted if student has a felony conviction.)
